THIS IS LAUDACE!

Axelle is a passionate Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) Change-Maker and Social Impact Entrepreneur.

Through her combined expertise in ED&I strategy & corporate communications, recruitment, sales, and stakeholder engagement, she is dedicated to driving sustainable change for people who work and organizations.

Inspired by Kimberlé Crenshaw's work, Axelle arms LAUDACE with the powerful tool of intersectionality to develop more inclusive ecosystems in the professional realm. Her subject matter expertise is in anti-racism, neuroinclusivity, and gender equity.

LAUDACE is an equity-first and intersectionality-focused ecosystem committed to advancing the psychological safety, inclusion, sense of belonging and well-being of historically marginalised people who work and their allies.

Our mission is rooted in our founder's lived experiences of ableism and misogynoire leading to workplace exclusion, trauma & burnout.

Through our passionate commitment and expertise to achieve intersectional equity and structural change in the workplace, we provide various solutions to advocate for, educate, and empower communities and organisations.

Together with you, we strive to destigmatise the physical and mental health consequences of systemic inequities combined with work-related stress, raise more awareness, help break down structural oppression and embolden marginalised folks with intersecting identities to shift from surviving the workplace to thriving in their careers.

April 2023

In April 2023, Axelle took the leap of TRUST > faith to found Laudace, an equity-first and intersectionality-focused DEI ecosystem, after leaving her corporate job.

Her mission is to create meaningful and sustainable impact by advocating for historically marginalized groups and promoting social justice.

As a workplace burnout and trauma survivor, Axelle shares her own stories and experiences to raise awareness on critical topics, leveraging her vulnerability as a superpower.

A unique background

Having lived in 8 different countries and speaking over 6 languages, Axelle's unique background has honed her acute sense of cross-cultural awareness.

Through her lived experiences of inequities as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent Black woman, combined with a passion for organisational psychology and cultural change management, Axelle amplifies the marginalised identity groups she identifies with from holistic perspectives and intersectional lenses.

She holds an MSc in Corporate Communication from the University of Amsterdam (NL) and a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the USF Muma College of Business (USA). She also holds a BA in Modern Languages and European Culture (Society, History, and Culture) from the University of Birmingham (UK).

Committed to making a difference

Axelle's unwavering dedication to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, her subject-matter expertise, and her atypical background make her a dynamic and influential force in driving positive change in organizations and society. She is unapologetically outspoken, insatiably curious, and highly driven, with a strong commitment to making a difference through her work.

In June 2023, Axelle was one of the Top 10 Finalists of the TEDxAmsterdamWomen Talent Night. From an intersectional lens, she delivered her call for action to Decode The Future by creating a more inclusive world for neurodivergent women to “Decode The Future”.
